In the Living Parents’ Offer of the CJD Sachsen-Anhalt, you accompany parents with mental impairment and their children on the way to more self-determination. Here, families live together and receive intensive, day-to-day support – with a clear daily structure and reliable readiness.

Many of the parents work in a workshop for disabled people. Our goal is to strengthen social skills, to develop life-structural skills and to sustain the child's good.

They design sustainable life perspectives – professionally sounded, relationship-oriented and with a clear social pedagogical claim.

Your New Task

• Pedagogical counseling and Parental guidance with mental impairment and their children
• Develop individual participation and life perspectives for families
• Ensure child welfare within the framework of accompanying parenthood
• Recreation, Recreation and Revaluation of assistance and support planning
• Special documentation and participation in reporting
• Support in the field of Education, Healthcare and Everyday structure
• Work in the reference support system and representation of leisure activities

Your profile

• Completed study of Social education / Social work / Heilpädagogik or
• Completed training as a state-recognized Heilerziehungspfleger / Trainer / Health and child caregivers / Hebamme / child carer (w/m/d) or
• Comparative qualification
• Funded knowledge of work with People with disabilities and in the family-supported context
• Safety in the Hilfeplan process and in the social pedagogical documentation
• Promotion
• Reflexibility, Responsibility and clear educational attitude**
• Communication strength in dealing with families, network partners and authorities
• Remarkable is the membership of a Christian church belonging to the working community of Christian Churches (ACK) in Germany
