Our offices in Bremen are located in the middle of our plan area on the overseas island, in the overseas city and directly on the Weser. From here we reach all construction projects in Bremen virtually “on foot” and coordinate and manage further projects and objects on Norderney, Rømø and Borkum, in Hamburg, Hanover and Lübeck. Senior

In this role, you take responsibility for managing complex quarter planning projects and actively shape the further development of our department. You work closely with internal and external interfaces and contribute significantly to the quality and implementation of our projects.

Project and Task Management Responsible planning, control and monitoring of quarter planning projects at work and strategic level Coordination of internal interfaces and external service providers and planning offices Coordination with stakeholders, in particular specialist authorities Development of sound decision templates for department management and management Ensuring quality, time and cost targets within the projects Technical management & coordination Technical support of the team in complex issues Participation in the strategic development of quarter planning Coordination of workflows, appointments and resources in coordination with department management Integration in new settings and participation in employee talks Promoting a transparent overview of tasks, priorities and dependencies in the team Quality Assurance & Standards Development, implementation and further development of professional standards, processes and planning instruments Ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements in close coordination with department management Participation in the continuous improvement of team and work instruments Communication and Interface Management Main address for selected topics in relation to internal areas, external planning offices and authorities Preparation, management and follow-up of meetings (incl. agenda, protocol, outcome preparation) Structured reporting to department management / management Representation of the Quartiers Planning Department to different external actors*inne Technical personnel development Active participation of the professional integration of new team members Promoting knowledge transfer and mentoring structures in the team Detection and support of training and development needs Perception of a Buddy role for new employees in the initial phase

Completed studies in urban and spatial planning, architecture or comparable Multiannual professional experience in the quarters, city or project plan, ideally in a senior or management function Very good knowledge in controlling complex planning processes and interdisciplinary teams Experience in cooperation with authorities, specialist planners and external service providers Structured, independent and responsible operation Communication strength, decision-making and joy in team-oriented work Strategic thinking paired with hands‐on mentality
