Space and Air Technology, TGA, HLS Building-House Technology, Facility Management in the field “Technology and Infrastructure Neuherberg” The Federal Office for Radiation Protection (BfS) works for the safety and protection of humans and the environment against radiation damage. BfS is part of the Department of the Federal Ministry of the Environment, Climate Protection, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN). You carry out inspection, repair and maintenance work on our building and supply technology as well as the operating systems (e.g. spatial air engineering plant complexes including inlet and exhaust air systems, regulatory (pneumatic and electronic) and fire protection equipment, exhaust air filter systems and air conditioning systems, steam generation, refrigeration, compressed air and water treatment plants for air conditioning and laboratory operation). You maintain the mechanical and drive engineering components of these systems in compliance with all relevant legal regulations, technical rules and operating instructions You operate and control the building control technology (GLT) for monitoring and securing fault-free plant operation You cooperate in plant testing and the acceptance of new plants, control and maintain the use of foreign companies You proactively support improvement projects in your work area You analyse vulnerabilities and initiate measures to eliminate identified deficits to institutions You maintain the plant documentation as well as the spare parts with the necessary ordering processes

You have completed vocational training as a plant mechanic for refrigeration, air conditioning and space air technology, industrial mechanicin, mechatronic technicianin or technician*in the above areas or comparable technical training You ideally have knowledge of MSR technology, energy and building control technology Experience and knowledge in the handling and care of industrial and industrial plants and systems, especially related to hospital and laboratory operations, are desirable.
