Trainee Process Technologist for Plastics and Rubber Technology (m/f/d)

With mixing and extruder methods, you produce rubber and plastic parts such as tubular or sheet material, which are further processed during the production process of the company. During the training you learn to plan the workflows in the production of rubber and plastic products according to technical specifications. You will get to know various processing methods, in particular mixture production, extrusion, foaming and coating. You select the required materials, additives and auxiliaries and mix them together according to recipes. You start production plants and monitor the different processing phases during production. For monitoring, you will learn quality controls that allow you to capture, log and document operations. You carry out thermal, mechanical, physical and chemical tests to determine and check the properties of the products.

You bring technical understanding, craftsmanship and interest in chemistry and mathematics. As a minimum, we expect the medium maturity.
