You shape the future of our Engineering Systems landscape (CAx/PLM) - always with a view over the own department. As a central contact within the Naval Systems division develop It is an integrated, sustainable architecture that seamlessly enters the Enterprise Architecture is embedded and optimally supports our business processes. Your tasks: You develop the architecture of engineering systems around design and product data management in a targeted manner and align them with the company and IT strategy. In doing so, you analyze existing systems, applications, interfaces and data flows and arrange them into the comprehensive process and system landscape. An important part of your work is the co-design of the digital development of engineering and manufacturing processes, especially in conjunction with the systems and application landscapes used for this purpose. You develop target images and roadmaps for the future orientation of the engineering and also take into account international locations as well as external partners. You identify potential for optimization and innovation in the system and process landscape, assess their benefits and bring concrete approaches to improvement into implementation. In addition, you define architecture principles and make sure that new or modified systems do not arise in isolation, but rather are integrated into existing processes and applications. In close coordination with departments, teams for design software, IT units and other stakeholders, you will ensure a coherent and efficient overall picture of the IT architecture.
