Contract und Claim Manager/in (m/f/d)

As a contract and claim manager*in you are the key figure for contract and after-sales management in our projects. In this role, you are responsible for the assessment, enforcement and defence of claims and claims in close cooperation with the project teams. Your tasks include: Own-responsible processing and management of claims and claims in our projects Examination and evaluation of construction contracts, performance directories and other contractually relevant documents as well as the creation and processing of additional cost displays, disability advertisements and other writings for documentation of claims Analysis of project changes, additional costs and delays in their impact on project success Ensuring compliance with contractual deadlines and legal requirements Creation and testing of allowances based on contractual and legal regulations Negotiations with contractors, subcontractors and other project participants as well as close cooperation with project management, costing, purchasing and the legal department Support for risk analysis and identification of potential savings Monitoring legal developments and industry trends in claim management and deriving corresponding adjustments to internal policies in our projects Implementation of workshops and training on follow-up management and claim processes for project teams

Education: Completed studies in the field of economics, engineering, construction management or engineering, law or a comparable qualification Professional practice: experience with work in projects, ideally in the field of construction or infrastructure; Experience in Contract and Claim Management is desirable Industry knowledge: knowledge of contract types, contract design and legal framework conditions in the construction industry Working methods: careful, structured and independent working methods and an analytical approach Mindset: Hands-on mentality, sense of responsibility and care Communication talent: team and collaborative skills as well as strong communicative skills in order to act skillfully in negotiations. skills: safe handling of MS Office, experience with project management and claim management software; very good German knowledge (written and oral), English skills are a plus
