Development of accounting processes according to IFRS and local accounting regulations in different ERP systems (especially SAP R/3 and SAP S4/HANA) to ensure high-quality reporting

Optimization and further development of the General Ledger processes as well as the processes in neighbouring areas as an important contribution to ensuring compliance and system performance.

Selection, design and implementation of state-of-the-art software solutions to optimize the ZEISS Accounting Landscape incl. Creation of Business Cases and Impact Analysis on the ZEISS Organisation

Central participation in international projects relating to accounting, such as the introduction of S4/HANA and new business models.

Primary contact for auditors and internal audits regarding the processes and instruments related to the General Ledger

Direct management of employees according to the company's management principles and ensuring the necessary staff qualification and indirect professional management of experts at international locations

Complete university degree in the field of business/finance/controlling or comparable qualification

Multiannual professional experience in the financial sector or controlling of an international group or in an international audit company.

Embossed international project experience to implement major projects in an international environment

Embossed process understanding in the field of record-to-report as well as cross-process understanding to ensure business requirements and compliance

Outstanding knowledge of accounting standards according to IFRS and HGB as well as knowledge in German tax law

Flowing German and English skills as well as good SAP knowledge in R/3 FI/CO and S4/HANA

Enforcement in an international environment
