Become part of the team of the John Cranko School, consisting of 60 employees, and join us students in their professional ballet training.

Your duties

Professional and organizational leadership of a dedicated team of currently 18 educators

Service and operational planning as part of a full-week shift operation (day and night services, 7 days/week)

Control and further development of daily boarding school from admission to departure of students

Ensuring a professional educational accompaniment of the ballet students in close coordination with school, parents' house and other partners with special emphasis on their internationality and the need for social skills

Close cooperation with the departments of the John Cranko School for the interconnection of internal and school-based dance-specific processes

Initiation, implementation and support of projects on quality development and innovation in board life

Your qualifications

Completed educational training

Long-standing experience in working with children and adolescents, ideally in the school context

Detectionable management experience in a comparable position

Secure foreign language skills (in particular English)

Impressed organizational strength, planning capacity and responsibility

High level of team skills, communication skills and social competence

Quick conception, creativity and joy in working in an international environment

Interest and understanding of the peculiarities of artistic training processes

Sensitivity for the special needs jun. Ballet students from currently 27 nations

Presentation of a perfect extended police record

Conditions

The contractual relationship depends on the TV-L for a working time of 38.5 hours per week (full time). The employment is first terminated for a period of one and a half years; the subsequent takeover into an indefinite working relationship is provided for in probation. The grouping is possible in the presence of all tariff and personal conditions up to S 18 TV-L. All persons (m/w/d) have the same chances. Hardly disabled persons are preferably taken into account with appropriate suitability.
