As a car master, you are responsible for the technical investigation and operational preparation of freight cars and trains in railway operations. Your tasks include: Conducting investigations and tests on freight wagons in accordance with VDVSchrift 758 (level 1–4) Car-technical investigations of freight wagons, loading units and cargo with regard to operational safety and roadworthiness Detection, evaluation and documentation of damage and deficiencies in wagons, cargoes and cargo fuses Introduction of appropriate measures and notification to the competent authorities Execution of brake samples and verification of air brake systems as a brake sampler Preparation of train and manoeuvring rides Dome of vehicles Adjusting brakes Creation and control of wagon lists, brake pads and traction papers

Control of proper loading and cargo securing according to AVV and UIC loading guidelines Annunciation of the supply of defective cars for maintenance or to the right-hand load Cooperation with disposition, workshops and management

Completed training to the car master or car examiner G after VDVSchrift 758 Level 4 Compensation as a brake sampler Knowledge of the technical and operational rules of the VDV-Schrift 758 AVV (General contract for the use of freight wagons) UIC loading policies BRW and internal regulations

Good knowledge of car engineering and construction of freight cars Brake systems and their mode of operation Train formation and maneuvering Testing of cars in railway operation

Advantageous knowledge of hazardous goods (RID) VDV 714 railway service German knowledge at least Level B2 Self-functioning, reliability and sense of responsibility Teamability, communication skills and high commitment Ready for shift and weekend work
