At the next time, we are looking for a Compliance Officer (m/w/d) in a newly created position for the field of defence and arms industry. In your role, as part of a small compliance team, you will ensure the legally and norm-compliant business in the defence sector as well as for dual-use goods. You implement compliance, export and contract management processes and thus contribute significantly to risk mitigation, to meet industry-specific customer requirements and to the sustainable safeguarding of business success.

In our search, we address candidate:inside with a proven practice experience in compliance management in the arms industry or in the environment of dual-use products. Ensuring compliance with national and international defence-relevant compliance requirements Testing, implementation and monitoring of safety standards and standards Creation, testing and negotiation of customer and project-related contracts Control and monitoring of the entire contract life cycle including Contract documentation, deadline control and risk management Development, implementation and continuous improvement of compliance processes Advising departments and management in matters of defence compliance Ensuring compliance with export control requirements, in particular in connection with security-relevant goods and technologies Conducting compliance tests and risk analyses Cooperation with authorities, customers, suppliers and internal and external stakeholders Creation of guidelines, training and action recommendations on compliance and export control issues

Successfully completed studies in the field of economic law, law, business management, security management or a comparable qualification, e.g. for export manager dual-use Knowledge of standards, regulations and compliance requirements in safety-critical industrial environments Experience in contract design and contract management of complex projects Good knowledge of export control and relevant national and international rules Expressed cost awareness and economic thinking Analytical thinking, integrity and discretion Sovereign appearance, even in demanding negotiation and examination situations Very good English skills in word and writing
