Head of Trade Compliance Customs (m/f/d)

Disciplinary and professional leadership of the departments Shipment, Ex- and Import at Kiel, Hamburg, Bremen, Wedel and Wismar as well as the organizational unit of about 26 employees Implementation of legal regulations in the field of external trade (External Economic Law AWG, Union Customs Code UZK) and advice and training on external economic issues Analysis, assessment and further development of processes to increase legal certainty and efficiency in close coordination with the interfaces and design and implementation of internal control instruments Cost monitoring, development of KPIs, reduction of transport costs and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations throughout the group of companies Representation of the company vis-à-vis Zoll, BAFA, IHK, customers, suppliers and service providers, conceptual development and introduction of external economic topics in the SAP as well as further development of the organization according to sales growth

Completed studies in logistics, business management or comparable out- and/or Further education in the field of import/export/customs Long-term professional experience in export/import and customs, as well as long-term leadership experience and good knowledge of individual customs procedures (export and import) Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing, advanced SAP knowledge and safe handling of MS Office Analytical, Commercial and Conceptual Skills, Structured Procedure and Technical Understanding as well as Improvability, Individual Initiative, Flexibility, Risk and Responsibility Embossed communication skills, negotiation skills, enforcement skills, moderation and presentation skills as well as safe occurrence and leadership qualities
