Market Data Manager / Product Owner (m/f/d)

As a Market Data Manager / Product Owner (m/w/d), you are responsible for the entire spectrum of our market data base: from the structuring of growing contract landscapes, through the negotiation of new terms with data providers, to the definition of data requirements for our platforms. You report directly to the VP Product and work closely with our Markets Tech Team, Finance and Compliance. Your scope includes the entire finanzen.net group, the finanzen.net portal, our broker finanzen.net Zero and our trading specialist Traderfox. Your tasks Structure and administration of our entire market data contract landscape: stocktaking, scope of services, usage rights and permitted use cases per contract and application Definition of data requirements for all relevant platforms (including Finance.net website and Apps ,Financial.net Zero etc.) in coordination with the Markets Tech Team and relevant stakeholders Establishment and operation of a governance framework: Release processes, Reporting Obligations to Stock Exchanges and Data Providers, Exchange Audit Management (in particular US-Börsen such as NYSE, Nasdaq, CME) Independent negotiation of terms, terms and terms and rights of use with data suppliers Risk management in licensing compliance – close coordination with Group General Counsel / Chief Regulatory Officer Strategic control of our data supply: Market price data (Realtime, Delayed, EOD), master data, event data, news and AI trading signals Coordination and Priority of our Markets Tech Team

This is ideally brought with you: Must-have: At least 5 years of proven professional experience in financial market data, data licences or capital market infrastructure Deep domain knowledge: market price data, financial instrument master files, event data, indices and their license structures Track Record in the management of market data contracts incl. Audit experience and reporting Basic technical understanding: Entitlement systems, data distribution, licensing implications of data qualities (Realtime vs. Delayed vs. EOD) Negotiation Security and Legal Understanding for License Agreements German language skills (C2), English safe (min. C1) Knowledge of agile software development and project management (Scrum, Kanban) about JIRA Nice-to-have: Experience with Exchange audits by US stock exchanges Knowledge of relevant data providers such as Refinitiv/LSEG, Bloomberg, FactSet, WM Datenservice, S&P DJI, ICE Data Services Track Record on a Financial Portal, Broker, Exchange or Data Provider Direct reporting line to the VP Product – short decision paths, high visibility A key role with real impact: You build a governance function from scratch and drive the further development of our products proactively forward Close cooperation with an experienced Markets Tech Team as well as Finance and Compliance at Group level Hybrid working model with presence in Karlsruhe, alternative Berlin
