For a customer from Düsseldorf we are looking for a strategic buyer (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) with experience in the field of electrical engineering for the following tasks: Support and coordination of suppliers used across areas Conducting contract negotiations and conclusion of framework agreements Escalation management and initiation of improvements in delivery disruptions Implementation of supplier visits and partial monitoring of audits to assess production processes and quality Identification and realization of savings potentials in the part portfolio Implementation and documentation of cost reduction projects Collection of offers, negotiation and awards for new materials and amendments Accompanying material qualification up to series release

Complete study in the technical field, e.g. economic engineering, supply chain management or comparable qualification First proven professional experience in strategic purchasing or supplier management in the technical environment Impressed negotiating strength and communication skills Analytical thinking and structured, solution-oriented working Secure handling of SAP and MS Office Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing (both C1 or better) readiness to separate missions, e.g. in the context of supplier visits
