Your role: In concrete business projects, you will shape the future and transformation of the IT landscape. In this technologically exciting environment, you and your product team will work on application solutions for (automatic) data exchange and data management for various business domains and SMT-specific processes. As Head of Data Processing Services (f/m/x), you will lead a diverse product team of Lead Developers, Solution Designers, Solution Managers and DevOps Engineers. Together with your team and other stakeholders, you will shape the thematic roadmap. In line with the thematic focus, you will support the personal and professional development of your employees. To this end, you use modern leadership methods such as continuous feedback and establish a creative and collaborative working culture. In addition to your disciplinary responsibility responsibilities, you hold end-to-end responsibility for a portfolio of software products throughout their entire lifecycle. You ensure that business and functional requirements are understood, validated and prioritized together with Solution Designers and the business departments. In close coordination with relevant stakeholders such as IT Operations and Security, so you requirements derive robust non-functional (e.g. with regard to scalability, security and operations). As a technical sparring partner, you support the development of resilient solution designs by detecting and evaluating existing applications, data structures and system architectures. You are responsible for the efficient organization and continuous improvement of the development process.

An excellent university degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics Experience in disciplinary leadership of software developers, software architects or DevOps engineers Practical experience in implementing software development projects as a developer or software architect is an advantage Knowledge of modern development and collaboration methods such as Scrum and Kanban, as well as related tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira) Solid technical background in software development, e.g. in .NET/C#, Java, Angular and/or cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure is an advantage Confident appearance, strong communication skills and the ability to inspire others High level of initiative, team spirit and flexibility Very good German and English skills
