Forwarding Manager (m/f/d)

You take over the technical and disciplinary management of the operating area (disposition, technology and workshop) at the main location in Gesmold and in our branch in Teningen You are responsible for management staff in the three areas mentioned The optimization of processes and the introduction of new structures are just as important as your tasks as well as efficient resource planning and capacity control You negotiate with customers, service providers and partners and report directly to the management You secure the running operation – and also outside classic office hours You are responsible for monitoring legal regulations, security policies and internal standards In your function, you work very closely with the management and actively shape the future of the company

You have a completed training as a forwarding businessman (m/w/d) or have a comparable qualification as e.g. a study in the field of transport and logistics In the next step, you've obtained the qualification for the traffic manager (m/w/d) You are looking back on several years of professional experience in the forwarding ideally in the KEP area You have experience in managing and developing employees and your leadership and communication skills You have very good knowledge of how to use MS Office, Transport Management Systems (TMS) and are happy to work in new systems The three words expressive, solution-oriented and reliable describe you perfectly You are ready to travel to our branch in Teningen at regular intervals to participate and design on site You bring very good German and English skills as well as a pronounced hands-on mentality with A comprehensive income and cost understanding completes your profile
