Software Developer (m/w/d) Sonar Systems Mine Hunting

We offer a wide range of services to our customers, including Sonars and Sensors, Guide Systems for submarines and overwater ships, mine defence systems, unmanned underwater vehicles and radio and communication systems.

Your area of responsibility includes the (further) development and maintenance of software for sonar systems in the Mine Counter-Measurement (MCM) Signal Processing, including Hull-mounted systems Setting platforms Sonar data evaluation

In addition, you are responsible for the integration of the developed software into our products and systems. In addition, you will set up technical concepts in the team, taking into account the stakeholder requirements, and then submit the product specifications accordingly. You also support the documentation of the software products. You bring in your creative, new ideas and implement them in a winning team for the company.

You can demonstrate a successfully completed university degree (ideally Master or Diploma), preferably computer science, software engineering, computer science, mathematics or comparable. Modern software development enthuses you: Clean Code and Software-Craftsmanship are not foreign words for you. You like to write tests as well as productive code. You have good knowledge of object-oriented software development with modern C++ and also brings experience in the areas of design, testing, build (cmake) and/or continuous integration of software (CI) - preferably with GitLab. The ability to work quickly, structured and with agile methods will distinguish you. You are convinced of your skill and can also represent your opinion towards others. Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing are of course with us.
