Service Manager Mechatronics – Defense Industry (m/f/d)

Team management: technical and disciplinary management of the service team with approx. 3–4 employees – motivating, structured and result-oriented

Order Control: Planning, control and prioritization of spare parts, maintenance and service orders to ensure efficient service processing

Service operations: organisation and execution of service operations directly at the customer's premises and in their own work

Mechanical maintenance: repair, maintenance and assessment of diesel generators – with a focus on engine technology

Electrical engineering & mechatronics: troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechatronic assemblies

Documentation: Creation of service reports, state assessments and technical documentation

Interface function: Central contact for customers in technical questions as well as close coordination with sales, construction and spare parts

Spare parts management: Ensuring spare parts availability in close coordination with purchasing and storage

Process optimization: Active development and optimization of service processes and processes

Technical qualification: completed technical training – e.g. as mechatronics engineer, electronic engineer, land/construction machine mechatronics engineer or motor mechatronics engineer – alternatively a further education to the technician or master

Professional experience: practical experience in the repair and maintenance of motors and ideally of generators, generators or comparable aggregates

Expertise: Funded knowledge in electrical engineering and mechatronics – supplemented with basics of control technology

Leadership experience: First experience in the professional leadership of a team of advantage

Organisational strength: Safe handling of multiple parallel service and spare parts orders also in a dynamic environment

Working methods: customer and solution-oriented, independent and structured

readiness to travel: willingness to travel about 40%; Driving licence class B required

language skills: good knowledge of German; English knowledge of advantage

Safety review: Willingness to carry out a safety review due to the predominantly military project environment desirable
