Engineer Building Technology/Facility Management (m/f/d)

The Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) is one of the largest practice-oriented universities in Bavaria and covers a wide range of subjects with the fields of technology, social and economic sciences, design and languages. We accompany around 9,300 students in more than 70 courses on their educational path. The Higher Education Service Building Management (HSGM) of THWS ensures the safe, economical and sustainable operation of the university buildings at the locations Würzburg and Schweinfurt. The range of tasks includes the technical, infrastructural and commercial building management – from the maintenance and operation of building and media technology to the control of external service providers to the budget management and tendering of services. A modern facility management software supports the efficient planning, control and documentation of all processes. Currently we have the following place to occupy: University services Building management Engineer/Ingenieur Building Technology/Facility Management (w/m/d) in full time Application code: 32.1.791 The place shall be occupied at the next possible time, the place of service shall be located in Würzburg. Setting is permanent and full-time (40 hours/week). If all necessary conditions exist, there is the possibility of beaming. The place is in principle part-time, provided that the full implementation of the tasks is ensured by job sharing.

You actively work with the management team and support the strategic development and project planning throughout the building management. You ensure compliance with all relevant legal regulations, directives and standards. You take over the technical administration and system operation of the CAFM system FAMOS. In addition, you continuously optimize the facility management processes using the CAFM system and actively promote the further development of system processes, automated operating processes and software modules. You contribute to the introduction of an energy management system at the university. You coordinate and accompany the creation of new maintenance contracts and tenders as well as the commissioning of new and renovated buildings. You support the operation and further development of the IT systems at HSGM.

You have a successfully completed university degree (e.g. Bachelor or FH Diploma) in a relevant field such as facility management or building technology, or a comparable relevant qualification You have expertise in building and building engineering You have very good computer skills and are ready to work into the FAMOS software Team and communication skills are your personal strengths You have an independent working and problem-solving competence

The grouping is carried out in pay group 10 TV-L if all conditions exist. In the presence of all the necessary conditions, we can offer the possibility of beaming (the field of science and technology). In this case, the relevant regulations of the Bavarian Civil Code are to be applied. The entry into the 3rd level of qualification takes place in the grade A 10. In addition, we can take over officers in their current grade as part of the transfer. We offer the possibility of the modular qualification of officials from the 2nd QE (the field of science and technology).
