The battery development center (RD/EB) is responsible for the development of high-voltage batteries in Mercedes-Benz AG. In the Construction & Mechanical Cell Block (RD/EBZ) department, cell chemistry, single cells and cell modules are developed and released. The rapid technological development in the design of automotive cells and their production process will continue in the coming years and will be actively driven by the team Zelltechnikum. The aim is to accelerate the degree of maturity of the cell design during the development phase and to create an optimal environment for testing production technologies for the subsequent implementation in series production (GigaFab). These challenges include: Project management support in the individual work packages in the E-Campus Takeover of own work packages from the tasks of our project leaders Conduct independently of test series in the laboratories Support for various design and planning activities around the Zelltechnikum project Active participation in product and process optimization in cell technology
