As a two-way excavator driver, you support the track construction teams during repair work of the road at various construction sites in your region At the next time we are looking for a cross-entry as a two-way excavator driver:in (w/m/d) at DB Bahnbau Group GmbH in Hanau, Kassel, Koblenz or Mainz.

This is what you expect during your retraining:

• We will qualify you during your working time in about 12 months:for two-way excavator:in
• You first learn all practical knowledge in track construction. After that you get the driver's license for the operation of the two-way excavator
• The practical phase takes place in your region, the theoretical phase at a location of our training centres

After your retraining, you take the following activities:

• With the excavator, you can handle transport, laying and filling tasks in and on the track bed
• Together with your colleague, you are looking for an economic, time- and quality-oriented sleeper, rail or ballast exchange
• You also take care of the preparation of your excavator and carry out brake samples, maneuvering and maintenance work

Your profile:

• You have acquired at least one qualifying primary school degree and already have professional experience e.g. B. as a construction worker:in, excavator:in, underground or trackbuilder:in or construction equipment leader:in collected
• Experience in operating excavators or other construction equipment you already bring, ideally in the construction industry
• Readiness and interest in the acquisition of the driver's license
• You are ready to use on holidays and weekends as well as night shifts at different locations (replacement activity)
• Excellent knowledge of the German language in word and writing
• In order to be able to start our construction sites with the utility vehicle, you need a passenger ticket of class B
• Your medical and psychological fitness is tested by us in the selection process
