Strategic Buyer (m/f/d)

You develop and implement product group and procurement strategies on national and international markets You select suppliers, qualify and develop them further, focusing on technical components and assemblies You conduct market, cost and competition analyses to identify savings and optimization potentials You conduct independent price, contract and contract negotiations You build long-term supplier relationships and maintain these, especially in Asia You control and conduct supplier audits and evaluate supplier performance You work closely with internal specialist departments in new developments and product optimizations You manage risks within the supply chain and develop appropriate safeguards You support the relocation and internationalisation of procurement activities

You have a successfully completed degree in the field of economic engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, business management or a comparable qualification You have several years of professional experience in the strategic purchasing of a manufacturing industrial company You have a strong technical understanding of components, assemblies and manufacturing processes You have demonstrable experience in international shopping and the implementation of international supplier visits and negotiations on site You have good knowledge of cost and value analyses and knowledge of German and English in word and writing You are safe in handling ERP systems and the common MS Office applications You have a high level of analytical competence, enforcement and intercultural communication You are ready to travel both in Germany and abroad (in the beginning 20-30%, then slightly less)
