Principal Engineer R&D Hardware (m/f/d)

Responsibilities Development of analogue and digital circuits Preparation of circuit diagrams and support with PCB layout Selection and qualification of electronic components Implementation of calculations, simulations and tolerance analyses Defining and carrying out hardware tests Development of electronic assemblies in compliance with EMC requirements Support with design reviews and FMEA Creating technical documentation Collaboration with firmware, software, mechanical and manufacturing teams Support with prototype construction, verification and transition to series production Analysis and rectification of faults vibration from development, production and field returns

Requirements A successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a comparable discipline At least 3 years' experience in hardware development Experience in the development of industrial electronic systems Experience with product development processes and development standards In-depth knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design Experience with processor technology and associated peripheral circuits Knowledge of the simulation and verification of electronic circuits Proficiency in using ECAD tools for clarity and circuit simulation Experience in using electronic measurement equipment search as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers and logic analysers Ideally, knowledge of EMC-compliant device design Knowledge of functional safety is an advantage Knowledge of functional safety (IEC 61508, ISO 13849) Experience with PLM and requirements management systems
