Security Engineer Basic Technologies (m/w/d) BITMARCK Software GmbH | Essen | Full-time Work actively in our development teams and be the security manager for our department. Analyze and evaluate vulnerabilities and develop hedges. Conduct Threat modes to identify potential risks. Plan and accompany penetration tests with external service providers. Continue developing the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) according to OWASP SAMM maturity model. Support and coordinate the security championships within the BITMARCK. Develop security libraries and tools to secure our applications.

A training, e.g. as a specialist informant (m/w/d) application development, or a study in the field of IT security (Bachelor Cyber Security or the like) or a similar qualification has made you fit for the job. Experience in Java and web development as well as common architectural concepts you have in your baggage. You can also bring knowledge of penetration tests, Threat-Modeling and security analyses. For the topic of IT security and secure software architectures your heart beats higher and similar topics are open to you. You have the ability to make our development teams fit in security issues. You pack things proactively and find creative solutions instead of waiting for challenges. A certification in the IT security field (CompTIA CASP+ or PenTest+, TISP, CISSP or the like) completes your profile, but is not a must!
