ASSESSMENT OF OUR TEAMS IN BONN IN A UNBEFRISTE VOLLZEITSTELLE ALS Security Technology Coordinator & Program Manager (m/w/d) – full-time from 01.10.2026 ROLLE For the Group Security and Crisis Management department, we are looking for an experienced and highly qualified personality for the security technology task. In this role, you bear the technical responsibility for the creation and continuous development of uniform standards in safety technology and for the introduction of innovative technologies in supply chain security. You control the implementation of the standards in the interplay of various national and international project groups as coordinator of the “Safety Technology Programme – Managements” independently. You will also support the “Customer Security Program” of the Group Security and Crisis Management department in all aspects of security technology. In particular, you work with the Information Security Organisations (CISO). Other key stakeholders are Corporate Procurement and Corporate Real Estate. You report professionally to the relevant senior experts at the Corporate Center. The department manager 6500 is responsible for the service branch. SUPPORTS Independent conception and implementation of standards of safety technology (prefered supplier) – approach, aligned with the corporate strategy, the business processes of the business divisions and in coordination with the Automation & Robotics Group Control of projects for the introduction of innovative security technology (e.g. in the context of “Computer Vision” applications), also within the framework of the “Customer Security Program” Support for security audits, inspections and investigations to assess compliance and identify potential improvements Stakeholder Management with key operational contact persons via the continental safety engineering bodies (“Digitalization, Robotics & Automation in Security”, DARS) Contact person for Procurement as well as Real Estate for the selection and procurement of security technology as well as for offer testing in large infrastructure projects (Green / Brown Field) Consulting and professional support of internal stakeholders as well as external customers as an expert in supply chain security, continuous further development of a resilient supplier network Independent analysis of technical innovations in security technology, in particular digitalization and based on it, the customization of standards, methods and KPIs in a changing environment Active monitoring of relevant legal requirements, safety standards and best practices, self-initiative in continuing and continuing training in the above-mentioned fields Participation in resource management and development of team members. PROFIL Technical requirements Studies in electrical engineering/informatics or comparable qualifications (e.g. technical training and multi-year professional experience in the field of security technology and relevant professional qualifications) Long-standing professional experience in a corporate security or a security technology company, in particular in terms of piloting/implementing innovative technology and digitalization initiatives Multiannual experience in the DHL Group Very good market and product knowledge in the relevant business field and good international networking in the field of security technology Very good analytical skills as well as pronounced communication strength in English and German Very good knowledge of MS Office applications.
