Value Engineer – Cost Planning / Optimization (m/f/d)

Organisation and moderation of value analysis/cost optimization projects for vehicle components Joint work in project teams from product management, development, purchasing, supplier development and production in product development (Simultaneous Engineering) Consistent application of methods and tools for cost planning, analysis and tracking in project work Creation of calculations for vehicle components to determine component costs during product production Introducing your strong practical experience in manufacturing technology so that pragmatic technical solutions to achieve cost targets are achieved in projects Promote and support all stakeholders in the projects Further development and improvement of manufacturing methods for our vehicle components in and with the international suppliers, even during product production Accompanying the Value-Engineering Process as part of the Product Development Process by the Organisation

Completed university or FH degree with technical focus Experience in the application of value analysis (e.g. according to VDI 2800 / EN 12973) desirable or good basic knowledge and readiness for further education Great practical experience in production technology, work planning, manufacturing planning, automation, ideally with leadership experience Practical experience in the use and development of lean management tools Understanding technical and organizational relationships to develop, among other things, on this basis in the team Experience in hosting meetings and workshops Negotiating English skills as well as good MS Office and SAP skills Good team and communication skills as well as independent, structured working and enforcement skills Readiness to travel (approximately 20%) to implement joint projects with our strategic suppliers Knowledge in handling AI tools
