The Technology Center eDrive and HV Components have the task of evaluating the economic and technical feasibility of Inhouse high-voltage components through investigations in the form of ideas and prototypes. We thus make an essential contribution in the transformation of our own drivetrain of DaimlerTruck AG. Become part of our global team: You make the difference – YOUMAKE US WAS DICH ERWARTET Head of an interdisciplinary team of technology developers:inside, project coordinator:inside and quality managers Representation of production in the module team (MT-1 eMotor & Inverter) Building and expanding cooperation with external partners:inside (industry and universities) in the field of manufacturing technology for emotors Development of an economic product strategy for new own products (e-engine for example) and presentation to cross-functional management Head of prototype construction including demonstrators and small series as part of budget and schedule Planning strategic investments to improve production technology in prototype building further development of a work-sharing model for the effective product development of the e-motor in cooperation with the development, including, where appropriate, further topics Ensuring the further development of team members:in cultural competences, new products and technologies Assessment of new technologies and processes to create a common technology platform for e-engines and inverters Close coordination with working groups and internal customers on the coordination of technical topics, requirements and processes and proactive consulting of management in strategic decisions Regular coordination with external suppliers

DESHALB PASST YOU TO UNS Successful degree as Bachelor, Master or Dipl. -Ing. mechanical engineering or comparable degree programme Basic knowledge of electrical engineering Experience in technology development and manufacturing technology More than 5 years of leadership experience in interdisciplinary teams Experience in prototype construction and/or in the production of mechatronic systems Proven successes in the development of new processes Experience in building and managing teams – you know how to create people motivated and structures Visionary thinking – you recognize trends early and develop future-oriented solutions Strategic thinking – You plan long-term and meet decisions with a view to the whole Convincing argumentability – You can communicate complex facts clearly and effectively Cross-functional work as a basic prerequisite – you can safely move into interdisciplinary teams and promote cooperation across divisions very good knowledge of German and English
