Number: MER0003HVU Our PLE (Project Management Development) e-Drive Large Cars/VAN department is responsible for the development project management of the e-drive drive trains and the development and integration of software for drive control devices for the van. Together with our specialist areas, we design the next Large Cars and Vans platforms and use our e-drives to operate the Mercedes-Benz Core and Top End Luxury segment as well as the entire range from private to commercial Mercedes-Benz Van. You support us in the team in the development project management of the electric drivetrain of the new electrical architecture of the VAN (VAN.EA). Our goal is to optimize the overall system drive with respect to customer-relevant properties, such as charging and driving performance, efficiency, weight and manufacturing material costs. These challenges include: Competence comparison & analysis of state of the art with regard to e-Drive KPIs & architectures with the focus on VAN Use Cases (use of big data technologies for data visualization) Developing a concept such as AI(-supported tools) can be used in the development project management in an increasing efficiency Analysis of existing development processes and optimization in the context of project organization Cooperation in strategic and interdisciplinary project teams e.g. with support in project management control tasks

Studies in the field of MINT (engineering mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, business) Interest in E/E components and interaction of mechatronic systems in the vehicle Basic knowledge and enthusiasm of battery-powered vehicles Analytical and conceptual skills Very good teamability and independent/solution-oriented operation Communication strength and negotiation skills High customer and service orientation Enthusiasm and fun at work Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
