OT Infrastructure and Security Engineer im Bereich IT (m/f/d)

Design, implementation and continuous development of OT security architecture according to IEC 62443 (zones & Conduits, Purdue model) including IT/OT-DMZ. Building and maintaining a central OT-asset inventory as a basis for transparency, risk assessment and network segmentation. Conception and further development of OT network segmentation as well as secure remote access solutions (PAM) and OT identity management in connection with the company-wide identity architecture. Responsibility for the patch and vulnerability management process in the OT, including governance, tool support and coordination of maintenance windows with engineering. Ensuring backup and recovery concepts for OT-relevant systems within the business continuity management. Development and development of monitoring and detection solutions for OT systems, including the connection to SIEM and OT-SOC structures and the control of external service providers. Close cooperation with the fields of production, engineering, quality and IT, as well as participation in the IT/OT governance board for the control, coordination and escalation of security-relevant topics.

Ideally, you have completed training or study in the field of computer science, automation technology, electrical engineering, IT security or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, you can convince us with approximately five years of relevant professional experience or a comparable reference project in the field of OT infrastructure and IT/OT security. Experience in operation, in the care and protection of OT infrastructures in regulated production environments, ideally in the GMP, pharmaceutical, biotech or life science environment, is desirable. Experiences with Claroty, Cisco, Fortigate and Siemens are advantageous. Technical knowledge in the areas of OT networks, firewall zoning, network segmentation, Windows server/client systems, backup, patch management, monitoring and IT/OT security are of advantage. Experience with industrial systems such as MES, DCS/SCADA, historian, laboratory or production systems and a basic understanding of production processes and regulatory requirements are desirable. Teamability, sense of responsibility, quality awareness and a structured and solution-oriented way of working are important to us. Willingness to cooperate with production, engineering, quality, automation and global IT/security teams is expected. Very good knowledge of German and English; the ability to communicate safely in an international environment is important. Valid residence and work permit.
