As a Global Engineering Quality Manager (m|w|d), make sure that engineering processes, designs and delivery results meet the highest standards in terms of safety, reliability and sustainability. This role combines strategic leadership with technical expertise and advances quality from concept phase to implementation for turbines, generators and related systems. Your duties Responsibility for the development and consistent application of technical risk management processes (FMEA: DFMEA, SFMEA, PFMEA) across all phases of the project. Drive digitalization in risk management through tools such as cloud-based FMEA platforms, dashboards and automated tracking systems. Moderation and implementation of FMEA sessions with cross-functional teams for systematic risk identification, assessment and reduction. Ensure complete traceability of risks, compliance with standards and completion of actions using digital tools along the entire value chain. Cooperation with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and project management to integrate FMEA results in design, production and execution processes. Conducting technical risk analyses and audits as well as training of teams in FMEA methodology, root analysis and preventive action planning. Monitoring and reporting on risk indicators and FMEA progress to the management level, promoting continuous improvements and Lessons Learned via digital platforms. Your profile Complete studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or system engineering; further training or certification in FMEA, risk management or quality (e.g. CQE, Six Sigma) is very desirable. 7–10 years of professional experience in engineering quality or technical risk management, ideally in a regulated or project-oriented environment. Detectional expertise in managing FMEA activities (DFMEA, SFMEA, PFMEA), technical risk analysis and implementation of risk mitigation strategies along the entire value chain. Found experience with digital risk management tools (e.g. APIS IQ-FMEA, Siemens Teamcenter Quality, PTC Windchill Quality Solutions or comparable platforms), data analysis and digital collaboration platforms. Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001, risk management frameworks, root-cause analyses and quality planning.
