Your role
As an application engineer, you are responsible for the applicational support of our customers throughout the entire product life cycle – from testing to customer demos to acceptance of the systems. You work closely with product management, sales and customer project management and make a significant contribution to the successful introduction and use of our systems with the customer.
Your tasks include: Performance and supervision of measurements, customer demos and device removal (Source & Final Acceptance) in the house as well as on-site customers
tuning the measurement programs with the customer as well as evaluation, interpretation and presentation of the measurement results
Applicative support for customer problems in cooperation with internal departments and local organizations
Cooperation in customer and cooperation projects, including the development of new applications and support of joint publications
Support for product management in the definition of product requirements as well as support for marketing and sales documents
Participation in the planning of tool times, creation of training materials and implementation of device and application trainings
Complete technical university studies (e.g. engineering, physics, optics) or a comparable qualification
Multiannual professional experience in an application-oriented or customer-oriented technical role
Very good understanding of measurement, analysis and customer processes as well as the ability to understand complex technical content
High level of self-responsibility, structured functioning and pronounced communication skills
Experience in cooperation with interdisciplinary teams (e.g. product management, sales, project management)
Very good English knowledge of word and writing; German knowledge desirable
Willingness to international missions in the context of customer projects and device removal
