Industrial Engineer, Business Economist as Strategic Buyer (m/f/d)

Strategic Purchasing & Group Management Responsibility for strategic purchasing of indirect materials focusing on technical spare parts, MRO components and services Development and implementation of product group strategies to ensure reliable, economic and sustainable supply Conducting market, price and trend analyses to identify optimization potentials Development of procurement strategies for materials and components that are especially suitable for use in frozen environments Supplier management Identification, selection, evaluation and development of new suppliers Care and development of existing supplier relationships to ensure high performance Implementation of tenders, price and contract negotiations and supplier audits Evaluation of supplier performance based on defined KPI (quality, OTIF, degree of innovation, sustainability) Legal & Hygienic requirements Ensuring compliance with food, hygiene and quality requirements (e.g. IFS, HACCP, LMIV) selection of suitable materials and technical components for production plants taking into account hygienic design requirements and demanding environments such as frozen areas Process and cost optimization Initiation and implementation of cost reduction and efficiency enhancement projects Standardization and continuous improvement of shopping processes Creation of purchasing reports, benchmarks and transparency on cost structures Interface management Close cooperation with technology, production, quality management, logistics and controlling Support for technical projects, maintenance projects and cross-company procurement initiatives Active participation in in interdisciplinary teams (e.g. maintenance, energy efficiency, sustainability)

Complete studies in the field of business management, supply chain management, economic engineering or comparable; alternatively technical training with further training in purchasing Professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in an industrial or food-producing environment Good knowledge of MRO, technical requirements and indirect materials Understanding food and hygiene requirements as well as experience with procurement challenges in frozen areas Secure handling of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and MS Office Impressed negotiating skills, communication strength and enforcement Analytical thinking, structured working and high decision-making Own initiative, sense of responsibility and resilience Team-oriented mode of operation and willingness to occasional service trips
