As an experienced (area) head of Purchasing (m/w/d), you are responsible for the holistic purchasing, in particular raw materials, with your employees. You are responsible for the operational and strategic management and the continuous development of the purchasing processes, in particular with regard to internationalisation and cost reduction measures. Also price and contract negotiations, standardization of purchasing conditions and material and quantity planning. You will prove far-sightedness and respond to market and economic changes. In these topics, you assume an advisory role vis-à-vis the management. You ensure the establishment and sustainable development of strategic suppliers, especially in Asia. Stock balance, further development of ERP processes and BI evaluations, purchasing controlling and achieving relevant KPIs are further important components of the task.

Complete studies with a relevant focus, e.g. in the field of economics, as an alternative to business or technical studies, or completed training in commercial or technical fields. Insufficient professional experience in operationally as well as strategically shaped, international shopping and solid technical understanding. Valide experience in the areas of purchasing / shopping in the Asian market as well as steel purchase. Process and negotiation strength, pronounced cost awareness and experience in process optimization. Control of complex shopping projects and establishing new structures. It is a good idea for decision-making, enthusiasm, methodological and systematic approach, consistent follow-up. Very good English skills.
