As Senior IT Security Administrator / Administrator ALG/Proxy (m/w/d), you work with security infrastructure technologies and thus secure the country's IT at network transitions. Your area: IT Factory In the ''IT Factory'' we provide in a standardized and automated form the infrastructure on which the IT of the State of NRW is built. For this purpose, we build and operate various safety components in an area certified according to ISO 27001 (BSI) .

Your main activity: You are responsible for building, operating and developing a Application Layer Gateway (ALG) infrastructure based on Linux. You build various proxy solutions and develop them further. With Ansible, you automatically provide proxy components. You ensure operation and 2nd level support in cooperation with other departments and manufacturers. You take care of the maintenance and continuation of the documentation. You support issues relating to proxy issues, participate in bodies and working groups and actively develop the infrastructure. Your task also includes: You continuously support the optimization of workflows. You play a key role in the introduction of new technologies.

You bring with them: Graduate degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics or in a degree course with IT reference As an alternative to studies: Completion as an operating professional or many years of relevant professional experience in IT Know-how in at least three of the following areas: Linux Systems Network (ISO/OSI) IT security based on basic IT protection of BSI/ISO 27001 Administration of proxy solutions Script/Programming languages (preferably Python, Ansible) Git, GitLab

At least three years of practical experience Secure German (in Word and Writing) Also desirable are: Advanced knowledge in network protocols Expertise in network topologies and routing Experience in the operation of proxy/ALG solutions Your personality: Team spirit, open to dealing with changes Structured and independent functioning as well as solution-oriented and critical thinking Self-initiative with the ability to look over the edge of the plate Additional job information A successful extended safety review according to § 11 SÜG NRW is required for this position (is initiated within the framework of the recruitment process).
