About us Digital business processes do not arise on paper - You live with applications that work in everyday life. This is precisely where the dual study of business informatics begins with the deepening of application management. In IT, you work at the interface between disciplines and technology and actively shape the further development of business processes through IT systems. Start on 15. July 2027 with an internship at SCHOTT in your future! The dual study takes place as part of a full-time job at SCHOTT and combines the theoretical phases at our cooperation university, DHBW Mannheim, with intensive practical phases in IT at our high-tech location in Mainz. The study begins in October 2027. During the six semesters, three-month theoretical and practical phases change. In the practical phases you work in real projects of an international industrial company. In doing so, you analyse requirements from the departments, participate in the implementation of new solutions and accompany their introduction to the operational operation. In this way, you get early responsibility in the care and development of business applications, including in the SAP environment.
