Team leader in a residential youth care facility (m/f/d)

Our goal is to open up new perspectives for children and young people – who come out of other services – through creative, educational and therapeutic and offers. We attach great importance to the creation of a loving space that provides security. A special focus is on close cooperation with the local psychiatry. Your tasks include: Educational & therapeutically linked work Responsibility for an appreciation, professional relationship work with residents Ensuring the structured daily routine and a secure group atmosphere Promoting resources, everyday skills and social-emotional development Dealing with mental/psychiatric disorders in a coordinated setting (in close cooperation with the KJP) Preparation, documentation and reflection of aid plan processes Participation in team meetings, supervisions and case consultations Leadership & guidance of the team Technical and organisational management of a multi-professional team Support, guidance and support of pedagogical staff in everyday life Implementing new employees & facilitating the attitude of the Malteser Works Regular professional exchange with the facility management (Jour fixe) Ensuring a transparent, valuable communication in the team Organization & Administration Creation and responsibility of the service plans Control of hourly and detection documentation Recording of invoices according to Paraphe Support for staff meetings Quality assurance and cooperation on conceptual development Representation of the management (in absence) Head of team meetings External representation of the institution Control of cases in crisis situations together with the KJP

(m/w/d) or comparable to the requirements of the supervisory authority Knowledge of youth assistance, especially SGB VIII (incl. §§ 34, 35a, 41) Knowledge of mental illness First leadership experience or clearly identifiable leadership skills Self-employed, structured working & high communication skills Joy of multi-professional cooperation and team leadership Loadability, decision strength & ability to safely accompany crises Identification with the values of the Malteser and willingness to shift and weekend services
