As a technical assistant / engineer in the field of mechanical testing of furniture, your core task includes the independent planning and execution of safety and quality checks for the furniture product group, with the full responsibility for the project planning and the smooth project sequence and communicating independently with our customers in German and English as part of technical customer support. In addition, the calculation of test enquiries, the assembly of test samples, the setting up of test rigs, the implementation of the various tests and the expert assessment of furniture and their components fall within your task area. In addition, after examination on the basis of guidelines, national and international standards and internal audit bases, you will prepare the required test reports, analyses, opinions and other test documentation in German and English. As an innovation driver, you will also develop new test methods and inspire your colleagues through your approach and ideas. The assignment of our company to the relevant standardization or product bodies, as well as the independent support in laboratory operation during the construction of test places and the maintenance of the operating and measuring equipment round off your area of responsibility.
