Senior Expert Systems Engineering Avionics in the field of research and technology (m/f/d)

Coordination, guidance and independent implementation of system development tasks using modern methods and tools in complex development projects (large to small volume, several projects, national/international, interdisciplinary) of the areas IMA and avionics in the field of research and technology (F&T) Technical planning (equipment, time) and coordination of system development at project level General responsibility for the technical system conception with all relevant internal and external stakeholders Definition, validation and review of system requirements Responsibility of the system model from a professional perspective (functions and data) Responsibility for implementing complex technical requirements in system concepts, architectures and designs related to relevant technologies and standards Responsibility of technical documentation (e.g. specifications, design descriptions, architectures) Adaptation, design and continuous optimization of development and production processes (system) Technical project management in complex avionics projects in the field of R&T Development of (also prototypical) hardware functions with the focus on the interface between software and physical system (= hardware) Defining modules and subsystems in close consultation with responsible disciplines (e.g. hardware, software) including technical evaluation make- or buy decisions in coordination with project management Technical / technical sales support in the initiative and offer phase Cooperation with various specialist teams including mentoring and knowledge transfer Responsibility for the quality of design artifacts and achieving system performance Planning and coordination of system verification and qualification Determining and ensuring the selection and compliance of the necessary standards / standards Self-implementation of system development structures in time, cost and quality (project-wide) Participation in defining and embossing development road maps and reusable components / modules Responsibility of internal and external standardisation projects Creation of R&T - reports and studies Negotiation, representation and enforcement of technical shares vis-à-vis customers, authorities and partners Conception, development and implementation of internal innovation measures (Mini-TI and TI measures)

Complete university studies in the field of electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, technical computer science, systems engineering and a comparable qualification Multiannual, relevant professional experience (business experience desirable) Comprehensive practical knowledge of (military) avionics systems Experience in the design of avionics systems including Development of digital and analog electronics and embedded systems Experience in requirements engineering for aviation development projects Practical knowledge of the application of the relevant guidelines and standards (e.g. ARP 4754, DO178, DO-254, ABDs) and the (military) certification requirements for aircraft First experience with the approval of avionics devices for aviation systems (Certification Process) Knowledge of common tools (e.g. MS Project, DOORS, JIRA, SysML/UML) and standardization of avionics systems Practical experience in environmental qualification (including EMC) of devices according to RTCA DO-160 or comparable MIL-STDs Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Analytical conceptual thinking Influential experience in dealing with architecture standards and best practices, such as design patterns Ability to penetrate complex facts and to convey them clearly Funded knowledge of system engineering, process management Good skills in presentation and presentation High conceptual capability Project Management Experience (V-Modell) Comprehensive knowledge and experience in risk management (including methodological competence) Good analysis and design capability to optimize existing processes Optimization of effort/result Experience in the analysis of existing processes and the development of optimization measures Cost-conscious action Excellent quality awareness Consultation and negotiation readiness to travel on a large scale (in Germany and abroad) Service orientation (internal, external) Experience in dealing with project partners Safe appearance with high didactic proportions Experiences with products and services in need of explanation Developing new business opportunities Knowledge of sales and acquisitions Safe handling of customers Recognizing and Tracking Business Opportunities Experience in managing subprojects, projects and project teams High level of resilience Communication strength Competence in the areas of professional team management and communication (without disciplinary force) Team skills Very good written and oral expressability
