For the department ''AIR SIGINT Embedded SW' at the Ulm site we are looking for a*n Software Developer (C++ / Matlab) (w/m/d) The department is responsible for defining and developing complex software systems for airborne education. Efficient and innovative technologies, processes and tools are used In the role of the Software Developer (w/m/d), you are responsible for the independent implementation of the demanding and complex work packages. The task includes the design, implementation, integration and acceptance of the software components necessary for the SIGINT system. You will develop solutions with interdisciplinary teams taking into account costs, quality and time.

Development and implementation of software solutions in C++ for airborne education systems Creating and developing algorithms in MATLAB to optimize the available SIGINT resources and data analysis Design, implementation, testing, pre-integration and documentation of complex software modules Conducting code reviews and ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing and documentation Analysis and elimination of software errors, as well as continuous improvement of existing systems to increase efficiency and performance Working with SW Requirements Sensor integration support

Complete studies in the field of computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering or comparable Multiannual experience in software engineering within challenging projects Multiannual practical experience in programming with C/C++ (C++11 or newer) and in creating complex algorithms with MATLAB Practical experience in programming distributed backend systems and/or device controls Practical experience of common middleware technologies (DDS, CORBA) and TCP/IP socket programming desirable Experience in dealing with Linux, Docker/Podman desirable Experience in agile software development (SAFe, Scrum) desirable Embossed communication and team skills Very good knowledge of German and English
