Strategic Buyer - IT / Plant Engineering / SAP (m/f/d)

You develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes by testing and analysing market trends and new strategic partners You take over the purchase of software, hardware, cloud services and licenses – always in close coordination with the IT, the departments and the respective suppliers You identify, evaluate and select suppliers and ensure the establishment of long-term partnerships. You also conduct negotiations with suppliers to ensure optimal conditions You will be working closely with other departments, such as engineering and project management, to ensure coordination of requirements. Your tasks include the creation of reports and presentations for the management of purchasing activities and results You identify risks in the supply chain and develop risk mitigation strategies

You have a completed study with a technical background, an economic study or a comparable degree You have several years of professional experience in technical project purchase as well as strategic purchasing, ideally in machine and plant construction and have very good PC skills, especially MS Office applications and SAP HANA. You bring comprehensive strategic and operational purchasing knowledge and already have experience in process and project management You bring with you a pronounced hands-on mentality and address challenges with high analytical and problem-solving competence. In complex and contradictory situations, you trade safely and ambivalently. As an interface manager, you keep an overview, are team-ready and think across functions. You also have a very good technical understanding of complex facts. Your communication is clear and persuasive, you are constructively dealing with conflicts and you are using negotiation skills for your topics. A high degree of self-responsibility and the ability to actively shape changes complete your profile You speak fluent German and have knowledge of English
