Group Management / Technical Lead Application Development Composite (m/f/d)

You take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of an initially three-member software development team and accompany employees in their professional and personal development. You develop and operate our core insurance system composite for product, inventory and damage based on the Factor-Zehn-Suite. In doing so, you shape the continuous development of the system landscape and implement modern solutions with Java, Spring Boot and Factor-IPS. Together with the team, you shape the technical architecture, meet cutting-edge technology decisions and continuously develop development standards, best practices and quality assurance measures. Together with the relevant specialist and IT units, you translate technical requirements into clear technical concepts and practical solutions. As part of the transformation of our composite system, you work closely with specialist areas as well as internal and external development partners, translate technical requirements into sustainable technical solutions and develop internal development skills.

You have a successfully completed study of computer science, business informatics or a comparable subject or have a comparable qualification with many years of relevant professional experience. With several years of experience in software development and technical management as well as ideally knowledge of the insurance industry, you are well positioned for this role. You have well-founded know-how in professional software development, especially in Java and ideally Spring Boot, as well as a good understanding of software architectures, technical design decisions, code reviews and quality assurance. You are also familiar with agile development processes. Experiences with complex transformation and detachment projects, technical integration architectures and technologies such as factor ten, factor IPS, Vaadin/Linkki, SQL, CI/CD, Jenkins and Docker are of advantage. Knowledge of modern and AI-based development tools complete your profile. You convince by a sovereign appearance, clear communication and a constructive leadership style. You can communicate technical connections in a comprehensible manner, meet decisions responsibly and bring together different interests of specialist areas, IT and project partners. In doing so, you encourage and encourage employees and take technical responsibility.
