Network Administrator (f/m/d)

Responsibility: You are responsible for the entire VHV-wide network operation. Network design: Your tasks include making design changes and customizations on the network. System maintenance: Through maintenance, maintenance and monitoring of routers, switches, firewalls and other systems, you are crucial to smooth operation. Teamwork: In a small team-oriented and independent team, you plan and optimize these systems and contribute to a strategic development of the system landscape.

Qualification: completed study of computer science or comparable training with multi-year professional experience. Network expertise: Very good knowledge of complex network structures. Cloud knowledge: Good knowledge in building cloud environments and their administration (AWS and Azure). Cisco experience: Multiannual experience in the administration of Cisco LAN and WLAN networks as well as WAN infrastructures. Firewall know-how: Good knowledge of firewall systems and their functioning. Additional knowledge: Experiences with proxy, radius and NAC systems are desirable. Operating systems: Good knowledge of the administration of Linux and Windows operating systems. Scripting: Good knowledge in scripting (e.g. Python or Bash). Certificates: CCNA certification or higher for DataCenter, Routing & Switching and security are desirable. ITIL: ITIL certification / knowledge are of advantage.
