As part of the joint project HERO – Higher Education through commitment, reflection and orientation supported by the Innovation Foundation, we are looking for a dedicated personality for the HERO@University programme path at the next possible time. HERO has the goal of systematically combining social engagement as a place of learning and education with academic education. Together with the Nuremberg Technical University of Applied Sciences, the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences develops innovative educational formats that promote democracy competence, social responsibility and scientific reflection. HERO@University is aimed at already enrolled students and makes their commitment within and outside the university visible as educational achievement, scientifically reflectable and curricular connectivity. A special focus is on peer learning, qualification and sustainable anchoring of the developed formats in studies and teaching.

You bear the technical responsibility for the scientific-didactic development, testing and continuous development of the HERO@University program path at the Technische Hochschule Augsburg You develop the HERO@University building blocks “Reflexively act and take responsibility”, “set points of focus and shape future fields” and “take over peer coaching”. To this end, you will develop competence-oriented learning goals, teaching content, didactic methods, workload structures, exam formats and performance certificates and design co-creative formats such as peer coaching, co-teaching, case analyses, plan games and project-oriented learning You design and accompany the qualification programme for students, teachers and peer and transfer coaches. To do this, you will develop workshops, training documents, didactic hand-applications and digital self-learning offers, build a community of practice and accompany the coaches professionally during their use in HERO@University and HERO@Start You plan and accompany pilot cohorts and develop formats through which student engagement in departments, colleges, student initiatives, associations, NGOs and social and political projects can be scientifically reflected and made visible as a learning and educational achievement. You control the curricular integration and sustainable anchoring of HERO@University at THA. To this end, you will develop module descriptions, recognition logics, certification procedures and micro-credentials, prepare coordination and approval processes with faculties, course managers, examination commissions and central institutions, and accompany the integration in particular in the AWPF area You develop appropriate evaluation and quality assurance procedures, evaluate qualitative and quantitative data on participation, acceptance, learning success and competence development, and derive recommendations for action. Project results prepare for reports, publications, presentations and transfer materials and provide technical networking with the Nuremberg Technical University, other universities and civil society partners

Successfully completed university studies (Master) preferably in the education, social, political, administrative, communication or economics, in higher education, education or science management or in a comparable subject relevant to the field of work Vocational experience in the field of higher education, science and education, and well-founded knowledge in project, science or university management and the coordination of complex organisational and development projects Experience in the design and implementation of innovative teaching, learning or qualification formats as well as knowledge in university teaching, competence-oriented teaching, curriculum development and ideally peer learning, peer coaching or co-teaching Good knowledge of evaluation and quality assurance as well as qualitative and quantitative data collection, scientific documentation and report reimbursement Ideally, experience in the fields of student engagement, engagement promotion, democracy education, service learning, university development, micro-credentials or recognition and calculation of academic achievements Representative communication, moderation and networking skills, analytical and strategic thinking skills, as well as a high degree of initiative and willingness to design
