Senior Data Engineer (m/d)

Platform operation & data integration (about 70%) Connection of data sources such as SAP ERP, SAP EWM, Hydra X (MPDV) and M365 to our data storage platform (Snowflake, Qlik Talend Cloud). Connectors, schemes and authorization concept. Replication, CDC and history in the bronze layer are your responsibility. orchestration, technical data quality and cost control of the platform. Administration of Qlik Cloud Analytics with licenses, users, roles and performance. For specialist areas, you can provide secure self-service access to data. Access concepts and governance for AI data products in Snowflake Cortex, including front-end connection and user control. Provision of data access for AI solutions. Data modeling & Analytics (approx. 30%) Support for transformations for cleaning and shaping in the Silver layer. Working with data models in the gold layer for analysis and reporting. You develop data models as a basis for Qlik dashboards together with the team.

That's what distinguishes you: Completed studies in natural/ingenieur sciences, mathematics, (economic)informatics or related disciplines with corresponding deepening. Experience with ETL/ELT processes and the extraction of SAP data, ideally with Qlik Talend Cloud. You have already gained practical experience with Snowflake. Knowledge of Qlik Cloud Analytics administration and content creation support. Basic knowledge of dimensional modeling and transformation logic (silver/gold). Experience with role and authorization concepts. Project experience and joy in working with interfaces to Data & Analytics, IT security and specialist areas. Safe handling of two areas of responsibility and prioritization between them. Very good German - and English in word and writing.
