We are looking for an experienced buyer (m/w/d) for the product group Fish and Seafood, with professional experience in the field of food wholesale.

Responsible for the “fish and seafood” product group Responsibility for strategic purchasing, both nationally and internationally Identification and development of supplier relationships to ensure consistent and high-quality goods availability Analysis of market trends and price developments to optimize the purchasing portfolio Negotiation of contracts, conditions and prices with suppliers close cooperation with the sales and logistics department to ensure efficient supply of goods Implementation of quality controls of delivered products and ensuring compliance with standards Participation in trade fairs and network meetings to expand the supplier network and monitor market developments

Completed commercial training, ideally in the area of shopping or food industry Multiannual professional experience in the purchase of fish and seafood, preferably in wholesale Embossed network in the food industry, both in Germany and internationally Strong negotiating and communication skills Analytical thinking and experience in price management Self-employed, structured and targeted Good knowledge of English; other foreign languages of advantage
