The various central areas of Finance, Legal, Compliance & Audit, Innovation, Digitalization & Start-Ups, Corporate Communications & Sustainability, Corporate HR as well as Corporate Development advise and support the diverse business areas in shaping the strategic goals. As Head of Compliance (m/w/d), you are responsible for the corporate compliance of the Melitta Group and are developing our group-wide compliance structures, processes and standards strategically. The following exciting tasks await you:

Advice: You advise management and employees on general compliance issues, legal and regulatory requirements and check incoming processes

Strategic guidelines: You plan, implement, control and improve the group-wide guidelines for general compliance and for the response to crisis situations and shape the associated organisational and network structures

Guide and control: You conduct the compliance officers of the business divisions professionally, control the network of compliance coordinators and guide the Melitta Compliance Office including the group-wide reporting system

Management Systems: You control and control the compliance management system according to IDW PS 980, including ISO 37301 and appropriate processes at the interfaces to the central and business sectors

Studies and representation: You conduct internal investigations and the processing of compliance instructions, participate in solving crisis situations and represent the Melitta Group in cooperation with authorities

Further development: You organize and maintain training, build a global compliance knowledge management, digitize and optimierst processes and tools, treat global M&A projects in compliance, tax external legal advice, initial reports and manage the budget for compliance

You have successfully completed your studies in law and ideally a professional certification, for example as a certified compliance manager,

You bring many years of professional experience in an internationally active organisation in the field of compliance and leadership experience with

You also have knowledge of European and international compliance law; Knowledge of antitrust law is desirable

You have experience with compliance and risk management systems, such as IDW PS 980, IDW PS 981, ISO 37301 or ISO 31000, as well as compliance audits, internal investigations and crisis situations

You know how to handle authorities, control external legal advice and service providers, as well as Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and OneNote

You have a very high affinity for technical and legal processes, procedures, methods and IT systems, as well as a quick understanding and master German and English safely in word and writing

The willingness to work on 3 days a week on site as well as on occasional travel, complete your profile
