About us As Controller in Transfer Pricing, you will play a key role in developing, implementing and managing our transfer pricing policies and procedures. You will work closely with the Finance, Tax, Legal and Operations teams, balancing intercompany, supporting financial calculations (in particular related to indirect cost allocations and service fees) and contributing to compliant and transparent transfer pricing processes. Previous experience in transfer pricing is not required. The role offers structured onboarding and on-the-job learning within an experienced team. This role will be in our Heidelberg office on a hybrid working model. .

Calculation and review of service fees and other intercompany charges Execution of intercompany billing across all group entities Ongoing review and enhancement of TP models and allocation keys Documentation of TP and maintenance of the TP manual Analytical review of TP calculations and results Stakeholder support (e.g. Tax, Financial Reporting) regarding TPP calculation Support the continuous improvement of TP-related processes and develop reporting solutions Support selected additional tasks or projects within the Financial Accounting Services team, depending on workload and expertise

Degree in Economics, Business Management or related subject Background in finance, accounting or controlling, with a solid understanding of cost structures and indirect cost allocations; initial to transfer pricing or taxation is helpful but not required Experience working in an international environment Experience working with external audit partners would be an advantage SAP knowledge is an advantage Very strong Excel skills; experience with databases, Access or other data/analytics tools is an advantage Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Team player with high integrity and excellent collaboration skills Fluent in English Well organized, highly motivated, flexible and able to work independently Springer Nature Skills associated with this Job Profile include: SN Accountability, SN Accounting Principles, SN-Business Insights, SN-Capital Planning, SN-Data analytics / Quantitative Skills, SN-Financial/Tax/Capital Market Regulations, SN-Financial Acumen, SN-Tech Savvy
