Solution Architect Application Management (m/f/d)

Process- and application-vote: Analysis, definition and optimization of business processes with the focus on manufacturing, engineering, procurement. Interfaces Design between Business Stakeholders (Process Managers) and Service Ownern on the IT page (SAP ERP, Siemens Teamcenter). Creation of technical and technical specifications (BRDs, FRS, Architecture Blueprints)

Solution Design & Architecture: Development of target and transition architectures (TO BE, AS IS) for the entire application landscape. Definition of integration patterns (APIs, IDOCs, OData, REST, MQ). Ensuring Non Functional Requirements (Performance, Security, Scalability, Compliance).

S/4HANA Migration: Total responsibility for planning, controlling and implementing the migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA (incl. System Landscape, Data Migration, Custom Code Evaluation, Test Strategy). Coordination of Change Management, Cut over and Go Live activities. Close cooperation with Process Managers, (SAP )Key users, infrastructure and security teams.

Governance & Delivery: Establishing architectural guidelines, review processes and quality metrics. Participation in Steering Committees, Status Reporting and Risk Management. Mentoring of Junior Architects and Business Analysts.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Evaluation of new technologies (Cloud, Edge, AI/ML) in the context of the application landscape. Promoting best practice approaches (SAP Activate, DevOps, Agile).

Completed studies in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering with multi-year experience (5 to 8 years) in the architecture of SAP ERP landscapes (ideally SAP ECC & S/4HANA). Ideally experience from the industry. Expertise: Experience with integration platforms. Project management experience (e.g. SAP Activate, Prince2, Scrum). Knowledge of data migration techniques (LTM, SAP Data Services, ETL). Basic expertise on SAP Business Technology Platform. Certifications: SAP Certified Application Associate – S/4HANA, TOGAF, ArchiMate of advantage.

Experience in the professional leadership – moderation of workshops, decision preparation. Embossed communication capability: bridge between business and IT Stakeholder Management at Segment Level Ability to present complex technical facts in a comprehensible manner

Analytical thinking and structured problem solution. Team player with high sense of responsibility. Very good knowledge of German and good English. Ready for occasional business trips in Germany and abroad.
