The PETER DÖHLE Schiffahrts-KG is a maritime service provider with roots in Hamburg and home ports all over the world. To strengthen our IT department, we are looking for you as Software Developer VB6 (m/w/d). • Development and maintenance of our business-critical ERP system based on Visual Basic 6 • Analysis and elimination of complex technical problems in our legacy system • Close cooperation with the specialist areas for implementing new requirements • Mentoring and knowledge transfer to colleagues to ensure critical know-how • Active participation in the strategic planning and evaluation of migration paths to modern technologies • Documentation of existing systems and support in the transformation of our work

Your profile • At least 5 years of intensive professional experience in Visual Basic 6 development • Funded knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (SQL, T-SQL, Stored Procedures) • Analytical thinking and structured approach to complex problems • Experience in the development of sophisticated software solutions, such as ERP systems • Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing • They laugh at work. More times a day

Additional experiences in one of the following areas are a plus: • Ideally experience with ERP systems, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry • Modern development environments and methods • Change management and transformation processes • System integration and interface development • Mentoring skills • DevOps practices and deployment strategies
