Junior Patent Counsel (m/f/d)

Your task

• Comprehensive training in all fields of industrial legal protection as well as targeted preparation for the examination of the German patent attorney and European Patent Attorney (integration of the sentence as a bullet)
• Interesting and versatile work in an internationally established team with the focus on writing new applications and leading patent licensing procedures
• Leading opposition and appeal proceedings, including the associated negotiation with patent offices, courts and competitors
• Enforcement of protection rights and development of long-term IP strategies with the associated consulting of the business units
• Close cooperation with patent lawyers engaged abroad
• Accompanying technical innovations important for our house and close cooperation with development areas
• Care and advice of our inventors in all matters of industrial property

Your qualifications:

• Successfully completed university studies in chemistry, chemical engineering or comparable scientific and technical fields
• Interest in legal issues and ability to securely connect legal issues to technical issues
• Strategic thinking for the development of long-term IP strategies
• Analytical thinking and ability to structure complex scientific facts and to render them understandable
• Joy in working in an interdisciplinary team with constant contact with the latest research results
• High readiness for performance and learning, good oral and written communication skills and reliable English skills
