IT Consultant Assortment Optimization Food Retail (m/f/d)

At EDEKA IT, we provide our independent merchants with a variety of software solutions that are often developed internally, including the category management tool SofiE (sortiments optimization for the innovative retailer). We are responsible for the operation of the regional systems, where up to 6,000 merchants with about 20,000 individual SofiE users are perspectively connected. From this diversity, innovative requirements are repeatedly created, which we implement together with the development and our customers. Together with the development team, you are responsible for the operation and further development of our SofiE processes, testing, customizing up to implementation and documentation. You bring your safe sense of innovation and actively drive new or optimized processes from conception to customizing, testing, documentation and implementation. You offer process and product consulting for our product SofiE, analyse and document business processes and focus on harmonised processes You provide the 2nd and 3rd level support for our markets and departments and support in the maintenance of our SofiE product. In this context, you can independently carry out fault analyses and develop the appropriate solutions in the team.

You have successfully completed a study or training with regard to IT or commerce or have an equivalent qualification, for example a training course for the retailer:in or out of a leading role in (food) retail Ideally, you already have knowledge of the SAP master data environment and have first experience in dealing with SAP-Customizing, SAP IDoc and Job Processing as well as SQL queries. Knowledge in project management as well as in process analysis, RPA, commercial and/or logistics environment are desirable, but no need. You have a logical analytical mindset as well as the ability to oversee integrated technologies and processes. As a real team player you are reliable, show engagement, work proactively and enjoy taking responsibility. You have fluent German language skills in word and writing (CEFR level C1 or higher).
